Hello, my name is Ian Underwood, and I live in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Thank you for visiting my website.
I am working hard to build a new life for myself — one that reflects my true values and my deep love of animals.
After facing some difficult times and making mistakes in the past, I’ve come to realise the importance of purpose, responsibility, and doing work that really matters. That’s why I’m now committed to pursuing a career as a veterinary nurse.
To begin that journey, I’m currently looking for work as a veterinary care assistant, or veterinary receptionist, or in any other supporting role at a veterinary practice or animal charity. I’m eager to gain hands-on experience, learn from professionals in the field, and contribute in any way I can to the care and wellbeing of animals.
Although I don’t yet have formal experience in this line of work, I’m enthusiastic, reliable, and genuinely passionate about animals and their welfare. I am flexible and not afraid of hard work or of getting my hands dirty, and I understand how important it is to be calm, caring, and attentive in environments where animals and their owners may be anxious or in distress.
